Lin Dai

Lin Dai is an entrepreneur and digital executive with over 15 years of experience. He is the CEO and Co-founder of Hooch App. As seen in TechCrunch, TimeOut, CNBC, GQ, UrbanDaddy and more, Hooch is the first ever members-only cocktail app. Marie Claire calls Hooch "A ClassPass for Booze", and LA Times says "Hooch App is the Greatest Deal". Hooch members get One Drink Every Day at over 300 top bars and restaurants around the world, in cities like New York, LA, Miami, Dallas, Austin, San Diego, Hong Kong and more.

Previously as Chief Marketing Officer of Keek, Inc. Lin was credited for growing Keek's 75M worldwide audience. Leveraging the momentum, the company was taken public on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Lin lead the day-to-day marketing operation, and developed partnerships with some of the world’s biggest brands, including the World Cup, Formula One, Sundance, MTV VMAs, Emmys, iHeartRadio, Teen Choice Awards, Live Nation, SNL, Relativity Studios and more.

As VP of Digital Programming for Emmis NY, Lin was responsible for all digital and television initiatives for the iconic brand HOT97. Lin launched Loud Digital, a premium digital network reaching 61 million viewers, and developed the VH1 comedy series This Is HOT97 as producer.

Prior to joining Emmis, as SVP, Programming & Development for Alloy Media + Marketing, Lin oversaw development of original and branded content, digital marketing strategy, and distribution reaching over 100 million viewers monthly for the Alloy Digital Network and Alloy’s entertainment properties, including Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars and more.

In 1999, Lin founded Kiwibox.com, the first social network and online magazine for teens, and successfully took the company public.

Lin Dai graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. He was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year award, followed by a one-year tenure as the youngest adjunct professor at CMU, developing the first set of credited courses on Web Publishing.
