Maria Mandel Dunsche

Maria Mandel Dunsche is vice president, Marketing & Advertising Strategy at AT&T AdWorks. She is responsible for launching the AT&T AdWorks brand and currently oversees the division’s marketing, key client planning, research, training, and the AT&T AdWorks Lab.

Mandel Dunsche is a digital native with more than 19 years of experience in marketing and advertising across TV, online, mobile and emerging media. Prior to joining AT&T, she was senior partner, executive director of Digital Innovation at Ogilvy and founder of the NA Digital Lab. Mandel Dunsche consulted across Ogilvy’s group of agencies on emerging communication platforms including advanced TV, mobile marketing, gaming, digital out-of-home and social media.

Previously, Mandel Dunsche held executive management positions in digital groups at Draftfcb, Lowe Worldwide and Ammirati Puris Lintas. Her client-side experience includes a role as a brand manager at Kraft Foods.

Mandel Dunsche has served as North American Chair and Chair Emeritus of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) and was a founding member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ (AAAA) Mobile Committee. She has been a judge for the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) MIXX Awards and the Direct Marketing Association International’s ECHO Awards and served on its Board of Governors.

Over the course of her career, Mandel Dunsche has received more than 40 industry awards, including three ECHO awards and seven Caples Awards, and was listed as one of Business Insider’s 2013 Most Powerful Women in Mobile Advertising and Multichannel News’ Top 40 Under 40. She is a frequent speaker and contributor in many industry events and publications.
Mandel Dunsche received her bachelor’s degree in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She is an adjunct professor at the Stern School of Business at New York University, where she teaches a course on digital marketing.
