THE JANOSKIANS specialize in both pop punk mischief and pandemonium with their own style of “social disturbance”. In February 2014, that pandemonium erupted like never before in Times Square when 20,000 fans showed up along with Republic Records—who signed the boys in the aftermath. That summer, they cooked up their hit song “Real Girls Eat Cake” and partnered with LIONSGATE® for a feature length film that is due out in 2015. In August 2014 they launch a global invasion with the “Got Cake Tour”, spanning Europe, North America, and beyond. In 2011, they became one of the most talked-about phenomena on YouTube after uploading a hysterical video entitled “Awkward Train Situations”. Regularly capturing their shenanigans and uploading them to the site, the Australian-born and Los Angeles-based five-some soon garnered 2 million-plus subscribers and over 200 million views. They hit the States for 2013’s “#NotaBoyBand” tour, selling out every date of the tour in advance. Along the way, they shut down notable locations worldwide, attracting thousands of screaming girls to London’s Hyde Park and the Beverly Center in Los Angeles.
