Tim Lindsay
Born in Lincolnshire and brought up in East Africa, Tim Lindsay was educated at St. Andrew’s School Turi, Kingswood School Bath, Magdalene College Cambridge and Harvard Business School (AMP 155).
He has spent thirty-six years in advertising as, successively, joint managing director of BBH; managing director of Y&R London; CEO, then European President, then Worldwide President of Lowe Howard-Spink/Lowe Lintas/Lowe Worldwide; Chairman of Publicis UK and President of TBWA\UK and Ireland.
He has worked with a wide range of clients including LEGO, Levi’s, Stella Artois, Tesco, Smirnoff, Olympus, SAAB, Sony, Electrolux, Heineken, the Independent and Army Recruitment.
Tim became CEO of D&AD, the advertising and design awards show and education charity, in September 2011 and is also non-executive chairman of advertising agency network the Gate Worldwide.
In real life he is married to Caroline and has four children. He likes books, art, cooking, skiing, cycling, Dogs and Chelsea FC.
