Birgilio Rivera

Birgilio Rivera Cabrera, received a bachelors degree in Marketing and Masters degree in Innovation for Development from ITESM-EGADE Business School. Birgilio has more than 20 years of experience developing strategic plans and projects for marketing, innovation and product sales consumption, information and communication technologies, as well as sustainable technologies; solar, wind and for water treatment. Birgilio is a published author with his educational story Uso Inteligente/Smart Use, and is the founder and president of the Civil Association Uso Inteligente ASV/Smart Use (water, sun, wind). He was a participant in the 77th assembly of the United Nations and was an inspirational speaker at the Green School Conference 2022. He is an apprentice, mentor and leader of the Coursera community, and frequent collaborator as a translator in the GTC, Coursera's global translator community. Birgilio is currently designing and studying for a PhD in Innovation for Sustainability.
