Santiago Loizaga

Santiago studied Industrial Engineering at Universidad Anáhuac (2000-2004) and has an MBA from Kellogg School of Management (2011).

Santiago began his professional career in marketing, first at Grupo Danone (2003-2006) and then at Kraft Foods México (2006-2009) and at the Latin American headquarters in Miami (2009-2010) as a marketing strategy consultant.

Upon finishing his MBA, Santiago decided to continue his career in the Tech industry. In 2011, he joined Microsoft in the Redmond WA corporate headquarters (2011-2013), working as Marketing Manager in Windows. Later he moved to the Bay Area in California as Country Head of eBay for Mexico and Business Manager for Latam (2013-2014). In mid-2014, the opportunity arose to join Amazon in Seattle WA as one of the first employees of the project to launch Amazon in Mexico.

Currently Santiago has been working at Amazon for more than six years. His experience has varied from managing two different business units in Amazon Retail (Consumables 2015-2016, Hardlines 2016-2017), he was Head of Supply Chain (2017-2018) and since June 2018 he is Country Manager for Amazon Advertising in Mexico.

Santiago has been a Mentor at Endeavor since September 2018 and is on the board of IAB Mexico.
