Gabriela Vargas has been the CEO of Starcom since the beginning of this year. Previously, she had held the position of Business Lead for the P & G account, supporting the development and evolution of the team and customer service. During that time, it also focused on adapting new processes that helped consolidate local projects and align others of a regional nature.
With extensive experience in Advertising and Media for over 20 years, her first foray into the media area was at Leo Burnett, taking global clients and participating and consolidating clients in new businesses. During her career she has held various management positions in the agency sector. Prior to her return to the Publicis Group, she held the position of Business Lead in Carat, where she led and consolidated important accounts, generating business opportunities thanks to her strategic and innovative vision. She has experience in different sectors and categories, such as Pharma, Technology, Entertainment, Banking and Automotive, among others. Her interest in enriching and having greater knowledge of other markets, allowed her to acquire great business experience globally, always working hand in hand with international teams and global accounts.
