Mariana Sanz

Mariana is the Country Manager of Edelman Mexico. Edelman is the leading global communications marketing firm and the largest independent PR firm.

Mariana has extensive experience in the PR and Communications industry having worked in Marketing, Public Relations, CSR, Corporate Communication, Public Affairs, Internal Communication, Digital Communications and Crisis Management.

Prior to joining Edelman, Mariana was partner for over 10 years at Guerra Castellanos & Asociados.

Mariana has served at public institutions such as the Mexican Embassy in Washington D.C, in Pemex as an advisor to the CEO on communications matters, at the Mexico Ministry of Finance, at the Inter-American Development Bank, and at the MIT.

Mariana has a B.A. in International Relations from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México; a Master's in International Relations and Communications from Boston University; and a second Master's degree in Political Administration from George Washington University.
Mariana is an associate of the Mexican Council of International Affairs and Member of the Advisory Board of the Mexico Office of Doctors Without Borders.
