Pedro Kumamoto

One of the youngest independent congressman in México. Used Twitter to elect himself.

Pedro Kumamoto, nicknamed “Kuma”, is among a handful of independents who were elected, the first that allowed candidates without parties to run for office since 2014’s reform. Kumamoto built an elaborate website and drew around 259K followers on Twitter that helped him to share his proposals and his movement #SinVotoNoHayDinero.
