Sebastian Arrechedera

Sebastián is a Venezuelan-Mexican, who in addition to advertising has spent his last years creating branded content, documentaries, fiction and comedy shows.

In 2007, after being a creative VP at DDB Mexico for seven years, he founded Arrechedera Claverol (AC), one of the country's pioneering independent agencies recognized as the "Independent Agency of the Year" by the IAB, Círculo Creativo de México and Merca 2.0 magazine. . that in 2016 it becomes AC mcgarrybowen, the first Spanish-speaking agency of this network belonging to the Dentsu Aegis Network group.

During his career he has been awarded five Cannes lions including two in 2017 by Weight Tag of Samsonite. He was also recognized by Adlatina as one of the 20 Latin American Creatives of the decade for his work for brands such as Como Volkswagen with which he has a relationship of 17 years.

He has been a judge at festivals such as Cannes, Clio and president of the El Sol Jury and the Círculo Creativo de México.

Sebastián arrived in Mexico as the creative director of Gibert DDB in 2000, after winning the Gold in Cyber ​​contest of young creative artists in Cannes and three years after his arrival he was appointed creative vice president and member of the Regional Board of the network The age of 26. In those years, DDB Mexico imposed a record by winning the "Agency of the Year" award in the Circle for six consecutive years and numerous international awards.

Beyond his passion for advertising, Sebastián is dedicated to denouncing the violation of Human Rights in his country with Efecto Eco, a digital movement that was founded in 2014 in the context of the first protests of students who have left hundreds dead.
