Armando Rodriguez

Armando is the vice president and managing director of Verizon Media for Latin America and U.S. Hispanic, overseeing sales and operations for the region.

Coming to Verizon Media via the acquisition of Yahoo by Verizon, Armando brings an extensive amount of experience to the organization with a scope that covers digital media, advertising, technology and business development. In his twelve years with Yahoo, Armando held several roles supporting the Latin America business, including serving as the general manager of Hispanic Americas, where he was responsible for the management and diversification of all revenue streams, including display and search advertising, as well the expansion into new markets in Latin America. Previously, he oversaw business development for Yahoo properties in the region, where he led all content and partnership assessments and developed unique sponsorship programs for clients.

Prior to joining Yahoo, Armando was assistant vice president of business development at MasterCard International and was responsible for managing relationships with Banco Santander in Colombia, Venezuela and Puerto Rico.

Earlier in his career, Armando held management positions at Yupi Internet, Inc. and with the National Basketball Association, both of which focused on expanding merchant and consumer businesses in Latin America.

Rodriguez holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelors of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida. He resides in Coral Gables, Florida.
