Matthew is CEO and co-founder of Alight Media, a leader in digital media in the public domain. Founded in 2019, Alight’s national digital billboard network already reaches more people in the UK than any other, and more than X, Tik Tok and Snapchat.
As part of Matthew’s commitment to doing digital differently, Alight has created a new digital retail media division. Its first launch is MiXR, an app and physical digital media network in hospitality, helping brands target 100m guest visits a year.
Alight is the top media owner listed in Campaign’s top 100 Best Places to work, reflecting its rapid achievement of a leadership position in the market. Alight was also recognised by the Best Companies scheme in 2023 as one of the Best Mid-sized companies to work for in the UK. In 2023 Matthew was recognised by Campaign’s sister event, the Media Week awards, as Media Leader of the Year.
Matthew built his career in senior client-side roles, bringing a consumer focus to media.
