POPPY JAMIE is a Forbes 30 under 30 entrepreneur, author, podcaster and expert in the mental health and wellness space. She launched the Happy Not Perfect app after four years of aggregating behavioural studies and developing the app with neuroscientists, researchers, and her psychotherapist mum. In 2021, she wrote the bestselling book, Happy Not Perfect: Upgrade Your Mind, Challenge Your Thoughts and Free Yourself From Anxiety.
At 27, Poppy was appointed as the youngest member of UCLA’s Stewart and Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital advisory board to consult on the wellbeing of students. As a mindfulness expert, she’s taken part at the first mental health talk series at Cambridge University, lectured at UCLA and San Diego State university on brain health, and delivered a TEDxTalk titled, “Addicted to Likes” about the psychological impact of social media and technology and how to reverse the damage. In honour of her work supporting mental health, she was awarded a Point of Light.
