Charlotte Ross

Charlotte Ross has been Publisher of the Evening Standard since September 2020 having served as deputy editor since 2017 and joint deputy editor since 2012. Over Charlotte’s 12 years at the Evening Standard she has occupied positions including executive editor, group features director and has edited ES magazine. She has been involved in many successful campaigns and projects including Get London Reading and the paper’s annual Progress 1000 list, while also being the editorial lead on Future London. Prior to working at the Standard, Charlotte was deputy editor of She magazine at Hearst, assistant editor at the Independent, senior executive at the Scotsman and one of the launch team of the Sunday Herald in Scotland.
