Felipe Ambra serves as the Global VP Corona of Anheuser-Busch InBev, where he is responsible for implementing marketing campaigns and initiatives that have established Corona as one of the most consistent brands in the beer industry, as well as those that have expanded the Corona brand into the entertainment world. In 2020, he helped launch Corona Studios and the brand’s first Original Content Series, “Free Range Humans, Life Outside the Cage,” which was met by enthusiasm from key stakeholders around the globe for its ability to inspire people to disconnect to reconnect to the outside world.
In his position, he is also responsible for leading Corona’s thought leadership efforts on sustainability, fostering partnerships with well-known Ocean conservation non-profits like Parley to protect 100 Islands and raising awareness for marine plastic pollution through campaigns like “Protect Paradise,” which was implemented in over 15 markets globally. Recently, under Felipe’s guidance, Corona also reduced its carbon footprint and developed the first 100% circular six pack for the beer industry, made with barley straw and 100% recycled carton.
Prior to leading the Corona global marketing team, Felipe amassed two decades of commercial experience at AB InBev, starting first as a trainee in Brazil, working his way up to sales and trade marketing, and then landing in brand marketing where he has implemented innovative and experiential programs, expanded the brands’ portfolio in the premium sector, while overseeing teams in Brazil, Peru, Central America and the Caribbean.
Felipe currently resides in NY.
