Abbianca Makoni

Abbianca Makoni is a news reporter for the Evening Standard. She specialises in writing about community affairs, gangs and social mobility and was nominated for a Baton award in 2018 for her work on how period poverty affects homeless children in Zimbabwe. She was one of our apprenticeship scheme graduates and has been has had a made a freeman on the city of London.
