Katherine Godfrey is Head of audio at The Guardian, responsible for all podcast output and experimental audio initiatives, such as the Voice Lab. She joined in November 2018 at the launch at The Guardian’s daily news podcast Today in Focus. Before that she was an audio producer for ten years, predominantly at the independent production company Whistledown, where she produced and devised multiple documentaries, strands and podcasts across the BBC and for arts brands such as Glyndebourne and Art Fund. Her specialisms are particularly in factual documentary, history and the arts and she has won awards for her audio work in these areas.
