Struan Bartlett

Struan Bartlett is Founder and CEO of NewsNow, the UK’s largest independent news discovery platform. With 12m users and 200m page views monthly, NewsNow is a UK top 50 website, and a global top 50 news destination.

Founded in 1997 to democratise the market for news, NewsNow presents a diverse range of headlines from around the world. It enables users to read more widely and think more critically, helping them make their own minds up on important topics, as well as indulge their passions.

Prior to launching NewsNow, Struan worked as a journalist covering the early days of the Internet, and as a software developer working for publishers and internet businesses, including the maker of one of the earliest ad servers.

Struan and NewsNow are very proud to be working closely with the Disasters Emergency Committee as its first digital member of its Rapid Response Network - a network of UK broadcasters and media organisations that helps alert the UK public efficiently to the DEC’s vital emergency fundraising appeals.
