Mukul Devichand

Mukul Devichand is Executive Editor, Voice at the BBC, appointed in 2017. He is responsible for developing and running a broad BBC offer on newly emerging Voice AI platforms, including Voice-native services in genres from news to children's content. His background is in current affairs, with a 15-year career as an investigative and long-form producer and presenter, working globally. Later as an editor in BBC News, he created and ran some of the BBC's most noted digital journalism units and brands such as the BBC Trending unit and BBC World Hacks, the broadcaster's first dedicated solutions-focussed journalism unit.
