Patrick Murphy

Pat started his TV career with a Degree in Film and Television, and then his first real job as a runner for Molinare, a Post Production company in the mid 80’s after which he soon joined Saatchi & Saatchi in London.

He gained a great deal of International experience by becoming a TV Producer for JWT London & then JWT Paris, Leo Burnett (Frankfurt) back to BDDH (London) where he was a Board Director and Director of TV. During this time he won many Creative Awards include Golds in Cannes, and the British TV Advertising Awards amongst a very long list.

Pat then made the leap to client side where he was responsible for Procter & Gamble’s Beauty Care business as a Global Advertising Production Executive. He had one final Agency role with Leo Burnett where he was a Board Director and Director of Broadcast before leaving in 2003 when he helped to start Adstream in Europe as the first MD.

In 2006 he started MCA with inaugural clients Cadbury, Pepsico and Scottish and Newcastle. MCA has grown over 12 years and has a global footprint with clients and subject matter experts in production that cover every corner, and every discipline.

Pat has been a keynote speaker at countless conferences for ISBA, the IPA, the MPA, Digital and Interactive TV Show USA, ‘Shots Creative Forum’, various TV festivals, Boards Magazine, Promax and many others. Pat has also been an authority on advertising for the BBC, and Commercial radio. He is also renowned as an expert and collector of advertising and radio jingles and has been a radio presenter for many radio stations both BBC and local commercial radio starting at BBC Brighton in 1980.
