Doug McPherson

Doug leads our Legal and Facilities teams. Prior to joining OpenX, Doug was General Counsel and Vice President, Corporate Development for Idealab where he oversaw dozens of operating companies through every stage of growth. Before Idealab, Doug was Chief Legal Officer and Vice President, Business Development at Ticketmaster-Citysearch and managed its successful IPO, raising $110 million. Previously he was in private practice at Heller Ehrman LLP and clerked for a federal district judge. Doug obtained his B.A. in Classics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar. He earned an M.A. in Greek and Roman History from University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. from Stanford Law School where he served on the Stanford Law Review.
