Dr Sarah Vohra

Dr Sarah Vohra is a Psychiatrist, author, columnist and mental wellbeing blogger. She graduated from Leeds Medical School in 2008 and has subspecialized in Psychiatry for almost 8 years, with particular expertise in assessing and treating mental health difficulties in children and young people. Sarah set up the Mind Medic in 2016 as an educational platform to empower parents or any concerned adult to recognize the signs of mental illness in their child early and to confidently access support sooner. Sarah believes that early recognition is key in tackling our country's mental health crisis. Sarah is an NHS Doctor based in Nottingham where she lives with her husband and their 3 year old daughter.
