Juma El-awaisi

Juma El-awaisi is a Pharmacist and HCP with a vast experience in business and management. After graduating from the school of pharmacy at the age of 20 Juma took a different path and moved towards business and marketing where he was the trade manager at an international pharmaceutical company in Turkey.

Within the final year Juma saw a small gap within the healthcare system in the middle east in GP’s so Juma decided to invent a GP kiosk, which diagnoses, measures, prescribes and dispenses medication to the user, This was with the help of the Reality TV show focused on Innovators ‘Stars of Science’ which is primarily sponsored by Qatar Foundation.

Juma was also a team member in Eat-now.jo which is an online food ordering website, this also helped him in gaining knowledge about starting up a business. Juma has gained lots of experience in both pharmacy and product management through his work in many companies and pharmacies in different parts of the world.
