Hannah Blake

Hannah is Open Innovation Director for the media agency MEC. Here she is responsible for helping the agency and its clients to collaborate and partner with start-ups and early stage technology in addition to harnessing a more entrepreneurial culture within the organisation. Prior to this she ran BBC Worldwide Labs, BBC Worldwide’s award winning start-up accelerator. Hannah is experienced in identifying and forging commercial partnerships for a number of large organisations and digital media start-ups, which means she has insider knowledge of how young companies, can scale and grow through a networked model and how established organisations can adopt new, innovative ways of working. Hannah has a unique ability to quickly understand start-up business models and translate them for the corporate world, enabling two very different companies to work closely together and collaborate on profitable, long-term partnerships.
