Kim Gehrig

Kim Gehrig is a director whose diverse body of work spans commercials, music videos, documentaries, short films and digital content. In whatever form, her warmth, humanity and gentle wit inform her signature style.
Australian born, Kim ventured to London to study at Central St Martins. Her career began fresh out of art school with a coveted art-directing job at ad agency Mother.Here she carefully worked her way up the creative ranks across a variety of brands and projects before being drawn to directing film. Relatively self taught, she started exploring the world of music videos making films for the likes of Calvin Harris, Primal Scream, Mark Ronson and Architecture in Helsinki.Most recently she made the hugely successful ‘This Girl Can’ campaign for Sport England. She made around twenty films for this project including the 90-second cinema ad, as well as shorts for each of the women involved in the campaign.
Kim has been living and working in London for the past 15 years.
