Rachel recently joined BskyB in a new role of Director of Client Partnerships & Collaboration with the remit of developing strategic partnerships. Prior to this role she worked for Unilever Plc for 9 years holding a number of positions most latterly VP Global Media Data & Analytics. In her earlier career, Rachel worked at Sainsbury’s Supermarkets where she headed up their on & off line Direct Marketing programmes. Prior to that role she spent 3 years working in the traditional advertising team.
In September 2007 Rachel was appointed Marketing Comms & Buying Director and given responsibility for the UK & Ireland media investment across 30 brands in 11 different categories. Brands include Flora, Dove, Persil, Lynx, Sure, PG Tips, Comfort and Magnum. In this role she took an active part in the evolving the digital landscape, implementing new strategies and completing roster reviews for direct and digital agencies. She also oversaw the first Unilever cross brand promotion and introduced new partners for promotional sourcing and the UK & Ireland call centre.
In January 2012, Rachel was appointed in a new role of Vice President of Global Media Data & Analytics for Unilever Plc. In this role she was responsible for developing the global people data strategy, media information analytics for colleagues worldwide, and establishing the first global data management platform.
Rachel takes an active role in industry initiatives having been a Non Exec Director of Newsworks, Director and Treasurer of ISBA. She is a member of WACL.
Rachel lives in South West London with her husband and daughter.
