John is a former touring musician with a degree in Economics and 25 years of international MarComms Experience - the last 15 pioneering the non-traditional comms world of Passion Platforms, Music Partnerships, Branded Content & Experiential.
A career initiated client side as Marketing Manager in the US & UK, John then
emigrated to Australia to work agency-side (BBDO, Burnetts, BMF, The Palace) leading bluechip clients such as Pepsico,
Heineken, Mars, Diageo, SAB Miller and more.
John left the advertising world in 2005, to became equity partner and Director of Australia’s largest brand partnership agency - Peer Group, and his own Agency Brand New Sounds.
Relocating back to London as Global Music Director at Bacardi Global Brands, John is now producing Passion Platforms across Music & Lifestyle for iconic spirit brands Bacardi, Grey Goose & Martini.
