Marcus Davey, the Chief Executive and Artistic Director of the Roundhouse, previously worked for Dartington International Summer School and Norfolk and Norwich Festival.
Voluntary positions have included being Chair of the PRS for Music Foundation and of the Hackney Youth Orchestras Trust and a founder of Trustee of People United. He currently enjoys being on the Steering Group of the Cultural Learning Alliance, a Trustee of Longplayer Trust, Chair of the Brook Street Band Trust, and is on the London Council for Arts Council England.
He is an honorary fellow of The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London and of Dartington College of Arts. Marcus was awarded an OBE in the 2011 New Year’s honours list for his services to the arts.
