Richard Hytner

After graduating as a Sloan Fellow from London Business School, Richard joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 2003 as Chairman & CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Richard Hytner is now the creative company’s Worldwide Deputy Chairman, working with leaders of many of Saatchi & Saatchi’s clients, specifically on their Purpose development. Most recently he has led programmes for the global leaders of Santander, PwC Assurance, Cushman & Wakefield and Orica.

Beyond his work for Saatchi & Saatchi, Hytner is a Trustee of Planting Promise, a sustainable educational enterprise in Sierra Leone; and a Trustee of the British Heart Foundation.

Whilst spending much of his career as CEO of creative businesses, Richard prefers leading from the shadows, the subject of his first book, published by Profile Books in 2014. Richard’s first book, Consiglieri: Leading from the Shadows was published in the UK and the US by Profile Books in June 2014.
