Johnny has 20 years of experience leading creative businesses. Starting his career at Unilever and prior to Sundog Pictures he was MD of Virgin Media TV. Johnny co-founded Sundog Pictures in April 2012 with Sam Branson to change the way people see the world. Sundog Pictures was launched to take relevant and sometimes controversial topics and unpack them in an accessible way, to bring important subjects to new audiences. A prime example was the 2012 documentary, ‘Breaking the Taboo’ which premiered globally with partners YouTube. On its own specially branded YouTube channel, Breaking the Taboo attracted 790,000 views in its one month online window. Its promotion was supplemented by celebrity virals and a Twitter hashtag that reached 30 million followers. Johnny is also harnessing his marketing and media skills to launch a new branded documentary concept within Sundog Pictures, working with brands and NGOs to tell authentic stories around culture and product.
