Once a back-end engineer moving enterprise SMS around, I stumbled across the trials of java for mobile (pre-Android) and swiftly switched to client-side. A lot of persistence paid off and I was in the right place at the right time to upload v1 of our app to the iOS App Store before it opened. Fast forward through the last six years and I'm still as much in love with elegant, delightful, user experiences as with the elegant, well engineered, code that drives them. Along the way I've worked in teams of one and of ten, at companies of three and of three hundred, on products with thousands of users and tens of millions.
