Gloria De Piero

Gloria started her broadcasting career at the BBC working in political programme before joining GMTV as their political editor. Gloria was elected as MP for Ashfield where she served in the Shadow Cabinet from 2012 to 2016. She stood down from Parliament in December 2019.

This year Gloria became a NED of the BBFC and joined Times Radio for the launch presenting her own show every Friday between 10am and 1pm which looks at the human stories behind the headlines and looks at ways to be happy in a weekly Happy Hour slot. Every Sunday she presents Times radio’s flagship political programme G&T with the station’s Chief Political Commentator, Tom Newton Dunn.
