Jo Gunn

Jo is in her dream job – as a wine lover who enjoys working for businesses with a cause, landing the position of Growth Director with Naked Wines was a double whammy.

But it took a while to get there! Launching her career on the Graduate Scheme at Unilever, Jo realized she needed a smaller and more entrepreneurial environment in which to thrive, so joined innocent smoothies where she spent 5 years managing various grocery accounts, before moving into a more strategic MS&P role.

Jo was drawn into the wine industry 8 years ago, initially as Sales Director at Nyetimber where she achieved her wine qualification and doubled their sales.

She moved to Naked Wines in January 2014, lured by the experience of working for an on-line pureplay with a crowd-funded business model. Jo is responsible for every aspect of new customer recruitment at Naked – and with the recent sale of Majestic and cash in the bank, it’s an exciting role to hold.
