Martin joined the John Lewis Partnership in August 2017 as Customer Director for Waitrose, and was responsible for all Marketing, Design, Customer Experience and Digital, this role also sat on the Waitrose Management Board. During a restructure in 2020 Martin was asked to temporarily join the Executive Team representing both John Lewis and Waitrose on Marketing, Store Development, Customer, Design and Content, looking after circa 900 Partners and has now taken up the role of Director of Customer, Waitrose, where he accountable for leading the development of the Brand and communicating it to our Customers.
Prior to the Partnership Martin has held a number of senior roles in the Post Office, BUPA, British Airways and Cadburys.
Martin lives in Hampton, a short drive from our Waitrose Head Office in Bracknell where he resides with his wife Helen and Bailey their dog. Martin has three daughters, who have all flown the nest.
Martin studied at Loughborough University and received a BSc Hons in Management Sciences and a DIS (Diploma in Industrial Studies).
