Hongil Yang

Joined Yoshimoto Kogyo in 1997 and served as a Web Operations Director and then a Digital Content Producer. Yang then became responsible for promoting the company’s IP content to digital media and platforms. He transferred to Yoshimoto Robotics Laboratory in September 2016. Since then he has developed, most notably the apps for Pepper, the famous robot created by SoftBank Robotics, but also robot, AI and voice communication systems that reflect the comedy and characterization knowhow he has learned at Yoshimoto. In these areas, he develops software that revolves around the sort of user-experience designs that make people smile.
