Iwase started his career with the Boston Consulting Group and also worked for Ripplewood Japan, a private equity firm. After a graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA with High Distinction), he co-founded Lifenet together with Deguchi in 2008, and assumed the current position in June 2013.
