Raj Gupta
Raj is the Chief Strategy Officer at UM Australia. His role is to ensure UM delivers better counsel and perspective to our clients’ in relation to their communication and media investment. This means ensuring that media, as one of our clients largest marketing investment levers, is creating a disproportionate impact on their business. This is achieved through his direct involvement working with UM Australia’s key clients to deliver strategy that drives growth.
Prior to joining UM at the start of 2019, Raj was the APAC Chief Strategy Officer for MEC based out of Singapore. In his 10+ years in Singapore he led the Strategic, Digital and Analytics, Data and Technology functions and integrating that product for seamless delivery for clients.
In his 20 years working in strategy and planning in media agencies he’s led the strategic output and high performance teams on a number of luxury, retail and youth targeted brands in Australia and regionally.
